Privacy Policy

What we collect

Information you give us. When you buy a package or contact us, we collect your name, business name, business email address, phone number, business mailing and physical address, trade and service area, and the business information required to prepare your federal registration. Depending on your situation this includes your Employer Identification Number and details about your business structure, licenses, and insurance.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment, the last four digits of your card, and billing details. We do not receive or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website we collect your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visits. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies.

• To provide customer support and keep records of what was done and when

Advertising, analytics and cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising. This includes services such as Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing, and the Meta advertising pixel. These services may set cookies or use similar identifiers that allow them to recognize your browser and show you our ads on other websites.

Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website. You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google at adssettings.google.com, and you can opt out of participating vendors at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies, though some parts of our site may not work correctly if you do.

We honor Global Privacy Control signals where required by law.

Who we share it with

We do not give your information to anyone who does not need it to serve you. We share it with:

• Service providers who work on our behalf, including payment processing, email delivery, website hosting, customer support tooling, and analytics. They may only use the information to perform services for us.
• Government systems, where you have authorized us to enter your business information into your federal registration. You control that authorization and can revoke it at any time.
• Advertising platforms, in the limited ways described in the advertising section above.
• Legal recipients, when we are required to by law, subpoena, or court order, or when necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.
• A successor, if our business is sold or merged, subject to this policy.

Selling and sharing

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not sell or rent our customer list. Our use of advertising cookies described above may be considered "sharing" for cross context behavioral advertising under some state privacy laws. You can opt out using the methods described in the advertising section, or by emailing us at Alex@govbidsetup.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Information."

How long we keep it

We keep your business and registration records for as long as you are a customer and afterward for as long as needed to meet our legal, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations, and to defend against claims. Website analytics data is retained according to the settings of the analytics services we use. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de identify it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate information, to request deletion, to opt out of sale or sharing for advertising, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email Alex@govbidsetup.com. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, usually by confirming details we already have on file. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may authorize an agent to make a request on your behalf.

Note that some information cannot be deleted while it is required for an active federal registration, for tax records, or for legal compliance.

Security

We use industry standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls limiting employee access to what is needed to do the work, and vetted service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant we will notify customers by email. Continuing to use our services after an update means you accept the updated policy.
